White Tee's
I know we have a rule regarding playing off white tee's or not as the case may be but would anyone support the playing off white tee's whenever the course will allow and if the captain or vice captain gives the all clear. Please bear in mind that handicaps are based on play off white tee's and therefore our handicap system does not truly reflect each individual handicap. Feedback please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a strong opinion on the subject......but I'll give one anyway. I wouldn't mind playing off the whites occasionally, where it changes the character of the course. More often than not it just adds a few yards to any given hole, giving a little more advantage to the longer hitters.

I'm not really fussed either way, although i would say that some courses can play totally different from the white tee's and this could be refreshing to play some of the (sameold) courses from a different perspective. I wouldn't have any objection.

It is something I have not really thought about, but playing off the white tee`s at say, somewhere like Thorne might be a good idea and make it a bit different.
