Dear god what a day! It was a dream round. Unfortunately it was one of those dreams where you wake up screaming :( The course was almost certainly in good condition, the trees have really filled out and narrowed the course. But I don't care, I was so bad that I might as well have used half a brick for a ball and a branch for a club. Not to put too fine a point on it, I was crap. No, to be fair, if I practiced for a few days I might lift my game to be merely crap, but right now, words fail me. I lost half a dozen balls.....I found a dozen....but not mine Just to rub salt into the wound, the only good drive I hit was on the longest drive hole.....straight down the middle.....and I was still 3 yards behind Paul. I'm not complaining you understand, but I'm going to dock him a shot and ban him from the forum anyway. Still, it could be worse, I could have to play again tomorrow. Of course there is some good news. I got to void a card (sorry Pete, but you really should check your cards) AND dropped Dave Higgins 0.6 AND got 0.1 back so I'm off 18 now.
