Sandhills: The 2008 season starts
Great to be playing again. Of course the weather was completely pants, but what do you expect in March. Paul gets off to a flying start and Noel gets in the first handicap complaint of the season (that's got to be a record). Special thanks to Clive.......collecting the money, writing out the cards, collecting the competition money and picking me for the first team so I didn't get quite as wet as everyone else. Good to see a vice captain picking up the slack when the captain is swanning off in the Portuguese sun. I'll get the scores posted on the web-site as soon as I can (I've got to code the new handicap rules before I can do that though). Cheers, Mark

First time post,and first time on the forum, so just wanted to say thanks mark for your comments. I thought that was part of the job as captain/vice captain? I must admit it was a result going out first and beating the bad weather though.
