Crookhill I think it's fair to say that the course was in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for my golf, but no surprise there.
I checked the rules and Paul is right, a void card disqualifies the player from the nearest the pin and longest drive competitions. So there you go, my misery is complete. It seems an odd rule and one I can't remember applying before........Damn that website!

never mind Mark, although!! i do seem to recall someone making a comment reguarding this subject and requesting that it be put into the rules, but as i said nevermind.
by the way, seeing as you forgot to enter your void card in the results for crookhill, it meens that i came last!!!!!!!!
thanks mate.

crookhill great codition, much like myself, I noticed some of the big lads struugled in the heat
I have no excuse for the bad golf - except the sickness and dizziness, and the black cloths
and I’m sure a couple of toenails need clipping

I think that's a dirty trick not putting a card in, who would do a thing like that and let someone else finish last. You didn't play that bad Mark just below normal for our level.

That's very true Dave. I'm just letting my high expectations get the better of me. I'll just have to accept that I can't birdie every hole.

Good point. All I've got to do is come up with a good reason for voiding everyone else's card......hmmmm, rule 49B, sub-section C "Anyone beating Mark Taylor will be deemed to have voided their card".....it's on the web-site, trust me.
